The Addams Family Musical

2026

LPI was thrilled to be back on the RLHS stage for the summer of 2026 following the wonderful updates provided by the RLSD referendum.  The Addams Family Musical was a sure fire, hilarious hit for LPI’s 29th production.

The Addams Family Musical, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Over 50 participants, from cast, crew and volunteers brought the story of The Addams Family Musical to life.  The Addams family was quite a spooky, ooky crew!  Tom Kamenick’s portrayal of Gomez Addams alongside Victoria Sepulveda’s Morticia Addams made quite the delectable pairing.  Karley Birenbaum brought the dark soul of Wednesday Addams to life alongside Arianna Vanden Heuvel who played Pugsley Addams.  The rest of the quirky Addams family was made up of Connor Schwab as Uncle Fester, Susan Johnson as Grandmama and Joshua Bohnhoff as Lurch.  Amy Schmit’s portrayal of Thing was quite sneaky as well.  The cautious Beinke family was made up of Danielle Rammer (Alice), David Quinn (Mal), while the role of Lucas was double cast with Linkyn Dussault and Bryce Kohler splitting the role.  Other notable characters include Cousin Itt portrayed by Campbell Weber and Tassel portrayed by Olivia Lemery.  While the rest of the Addams family ancestors were made up of LPI alumni and many newcomers to the LPI stage.

The Addams Family Musical was led by Mason Falk (making his directorial debut with LPI). Madilyn Kallaur was assistant director while Miriam Fabian kept the entire production organized as Stage Manager.  LPI welcomed newcomer Bonnie Steele as choreographer as well as another LPI newcomer Emily Fillinger as music director.  Kim Dussault once again brought another cast of characters to life as costume designer for The Addams Family Musical.   Mike Schwab, helped bring Mason’s vision of the Addams Family mansion to life.  LPI was also pleased to welcome back Noah Verhasselt  as Technical Director.

LPI would especially like to thank the countless volunteers and patrons that help us year round to be able to bring quality, community theater experiences to the greater Random Lake area for almost 30 years.
